Christmas Presents... Part 2

I can bet we all had a number of books on our Christmas Lists this year.... here's what I received

My Martha Stewart collection would not be complete without her latest book

My Barefoot Contessa Collection has begun

Some girlie books I love

... the Goddess Experience is the sequel to this book which became a bible to me

Mum thought I would like this Tudor Book when she saw it on her local book club

And some fun educational books which I'm looking forward to learning and remembering some old school tricks

Which books did you get this year?

I had fun with my family yesterday afternoon watching the Rat Pack and today I'm going to the high street to run some errands... and yes.... a bit of thrifting might happen!

Hi :) Looks like I wasn't the only one to get books this year :) Your books look cool, I've seen the Audrey one on amazon and really want to get that. I got 10 books for Christmas, all crafty books, including Sew Pretty Homestyle, Stitched in Time and Cherry Cake and Ginger Beer - I'm in crafty heaven at the moment ;) x

Victoria, it looks like you got some really grand books! I received 4 books this year:
1. The Conjurer's Bird
2. Knit Two
3. American Wife
4. The 19th Wife

I guess I better get reading!

Hi Victoria, I received lots of books and purchased a few for myself too! My friend Maria gave me "The story of Edgar Sawtelle" by David Wroblewski -- one of Oprah's books, and I also got from my husband "The Purpose of Christmas" by pastor Rick Warren, and also "The Shack" by William P. Young. I also purchased several "happy" craft books from Amazon..."The French-Inspired Home" "Crowns & Tiaras: Adda little sparkle, glitter & glamour to every day", "Papier-Mache Treasures with Teena Flanner: Creating your own vintage-style collectibles", "Seams to Me: 24 new reasons to love sewing," "Stitched in Time: Memory-keeping projects to sew and share", "The gentle art of Domesticity: Stitching, Baking, Nature, art & the comforts of home."
I know, it's a LOT! I am a Book-a-holic and and magazine-a-holic!
Happy (almost) new year to you! Suzie

What wonderful books for your collection. I adore Ina. She has a wonderful TV cooking show on the Food Network here...do you by any chance get it? Hugs, Linda

Still catching up on everyone's blogs, so sorry for this late comment. What lovely books! I'd love to come and raid your book shelves Victoria, I'm a bit book obsessed myself. This Christmas I got a Mrs Beaton's Cookbook, a Hairy Bikers Cookbook (okay so I bought it for myself), and an Afrikaans book that my mum brought over from South Africa for me. The Martha one looks excellent... you lucky lady!
