Twinkle Twinkle

Whenever my dad went to get the paper of a weekend when I was a child he would come home with Twinkle magazine for me and for a number of years I would get an annual for Christmas.

I was searching on eBay recently and came across a number of the annuals and decided to re-start my collection.

I love the memories they evoke when I look through them.

What magazines and annuals do you remember as child?

They look like lovely books, what a great idea to start collecting them again.

I grew up in a very small town so things like that were not available.

Hi Victoria,
You left your blog info on a recent order you purchased so I decided to stop in. My fav books were called Highlights. I was at a rummage sale last month and scored 21 issues! I know how those memories feel. I'm off to continue to browse your blog!

Hi Victoria, The Twinkle books remind me of the "Highlights" that I used to read when I was little.
Check back tomorrow on my blog, I will have a tease for your Wizard of Oz swap. I hopefully will have it in the mail to you on Tuesday! Have a good weekend!

My mom used to read us the "Goofus and Gallant" Stories out of the Highlights Magazine. We also used to love to do the Seek and Find page they had.

I like the name Twinkle better and the pictures are so cute!!
