Wedding Day

Today I'm off to an indian wedding with a friend and it should be very interested as I do not know what to expect!

It's being held here and is supposed to be a very dressy affair with 500 guests!

This is the dress I shall be wearing

(I have a cardigan that matches to cover shoulders etc in line with etiquette etc)

Tomorrow is Rememberance Sunday

I will be attending the ceremony at our town's memorial. I was overwhelmed last year at how many people turn out to show their respects and was proud of my brother displaying his medals as he is usual shy about his time in the army

I hope you all have wonderful weekend plans... coming up I still have to show you my fabulous Sweet & Sinister swap items... a custom tile from Jessi for my future nephew and some fun photos from a charity ball I attended last weekend

Now I really MUST go and get ready!!!

Oh Victoria, you MUST show us photos from the wedding, and of you in that lovely dress - it's gorgeous. Every girl should have a pretty dress to wear to a wedding.
I hope the service today is as memorable and moving as you found it previously. It's great that we have remembrance day in the UK to have a chance to be quiet and thankful to those that risked their lives.

Hi hun....thank you for the nice comments....i'm up but still not well....

Made me think reading the blogs this morning, just how much we take for granted this freedom we have....because of the brave men and women who gave their lives.....scary to think how life might be now...

Hope you had a nice time at the wedding!xxx

Hi Victoria, I love cooking so Mr K has to eat it whether he likes it or not. I bet you had a fab time at the wedding and what a posh venue too. You must show us the pictures. Hope you enjoyed the service. We should never forget the brave soldiers who suffered so much for us X
