Snow Day

This is the view from my bedroom window this morning

Trains have been cancelled so I am lucky enough to not have to leave the house today

I'm tucked up in bed with my laptop and The West Wing - how are you spending your snow day?

I am spending my snow day with no snow, not one little flake, it's not fair! Yours looks really beautiful though.

I'm having a snow day too! I did walk down to the station to see if there were any trains ... we've been away this weekend so I will probably spend today doing a bit of tidying and catching up with marmalade making and cheesy film watching!!!

Enjoy your day! (Are you secretly hoping for more snow tonight and more train cancellations tomorrow? I am!!!)

Isn't it great? My son was desperately disappointed that his school didn't close - we're in east yorks and seem to be getting more then they'd predicted - loads of schools have closed round us, just not his!

I'm so envious, I would LOVE a day on my own in the warm to do whatever I wanted with! I'm sure you work hard and deserve it though, anyone who braves the trains every day deserves a medal ;)

I've had a bit of a play with the girlies outside but at the moment they are playing dollies in the living room so I've sneaked on the pc while they're busy. Might go to town later.

Sounds like you had a good day! Hope the trains are cancelled tomorrow for you too ;) We have a lot of snow too and I ended up staying home because I managed to skid on the snow and smack my car into the wall! I'm ok but the car needs a bit of TLC :( xxx

Hi,
It looks as though my snow day will be tomorrow as there's already been a foot of the white stuff fallen since I got in from work! Bring on the lie in and breakfast in bed!!

Victoria, thanks for sharing your black and whites of your snow day! It is actually in the 60's here in Charlotte, NC and sunny! I wish I had today off-enjoy!!

Think I'll be stopping home tomorrow too :) There's no way I'll risk driving again if it's still snowy and it hasn't stopped here all day! xx

Ours has finally melted! Your pictures capture the true beauty that snow can bring. I actually prefer it over rain. What girl doesn't prefer glisten, glitter and sparkle in her forecast!!

Thanks for visiting my lil' blog.
